Saludando el acto politico hoy en Bogotà de solidaridad ante la persecusion a que son sometidos Gloria Inès Ramirez, Piedad Cordoba y Wilson Borja y expresando nuestro apoyo a la campaña de solidaridad, nacional e internacional les enviamos la declaración de parlamentarias de la izquierda nordica, de Dinamarca, Finlandia, Noruega y Suecia

'For the right to political opposition in Colombia

As parliamentarians and women we are deeply concerned about the persecution of two of our collegues. Two Colombian parliamentarians and others working for the humanitarian exchange and peace have been faced with legal proceedings for alleged links to or membership of the FARC guerrilla. The concerned are Piedad Cordoba, of the Liberal Party, and Gloria Ines Ramirez.

We believe that this process is an action aimed at harming the rights of the opposition in Colombia. It is a process that is conducted under pressure from President Alvaro Uribe whose government is surrounded by a huge scandal relating to corruption and paramilitary links.

As parliamentarians we express our full solidarity with the persecuted parliamentarians, including also and Wilson Borja from the Alternative Democratic Pole.

In the same way express our solidarity with Carlos Lozano, editor of the weekly Voz, Alvaro Leyva, Carlos Viveros and all people linked to this political trial that have been involved in the peace processes.

Cordiales Saludos a toda le gente de buena voluntad, que en Colombia lucha por la Paz.

Y en particular hoy a aquellas personas, que asumiendo un rol de representación de la democracia formal, desde sus puestos en Congreso y Senado de la República, o desde los medios alternativos de comunicación, vienen siendo objeto de difamación, persecución e intento de silenciar sus potentes y éticas voces.

Es un gobierno que un día te pide que intermedies y busques comunicación, y al siguiente te pone en la picota, el que debiera obtener todos los beneficios de una Justicia independiente.

Es un gobierno signado por tan macabras actuaciones que han sido mostradas y demostradas a mansalva, quien debiera padecer el escarnio de sus actos antihumanos.

No hace tanto tiempo, si de comparar se trata, que desde las multinacionales españolas se impuso un silencio cómplice similar con otro país, en el que estaban obteniendo obscenos beneficios.

El Perú de Fujimori, tras el golpe de estado recibió entre otros muchos apoyos el de la compra de la telefonía pública, a precio regalado, por parte de la actualmente privada Telefonica española..y ello suponía un refuerzo politico entre gobiernos..

Ahora Fujimori está preso y siendo juzgado...

No nos cabe duda de que así pasará también en Colombia, más temprano que tarde
